5.5.2.2. Reverse synchronisation function (where fitted)
When the windscreen wiper switch is in either the intermittent or <AUTO> (where fitted), low or high speed position, shifting to the R (Reverse) position will operate the rear window wiper.
The mode can be turned off. For details, see Vehicle information display.
In the <AUTO> position (where fitted), the rear wiper will not begin to sweep when the vehicle is shifted to the R (Reverse) position. It waits until the front wipers have made the first sweep.
