Supporting City in the Community
Powerchair Football
City in the Community, Manchester City’s official charity, support people across Greater Manchester by creating healthier lives through football. Programmes place physical and mental wellbeing at their core, whilst also creating healthy futures & communities.
Nissan have been working with City in the Community helping Powerchair footballers receive the equipment they need to play the game they love.

Adele Roberts is an award-winning DJ and broadcaster. A keen runner, she completed the London marathon in 2017, 2018 and 2023 and holds the Guinness World Record as the fastest marathon with an ileostomy (female). Nissan are proud to be working with Adele to advocate for greater inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community and to ensure they’re always supported, seen and heard.
Richard Whitehead is a four-time World Champion, a double Paralympic Gold medallist and silver medallist at Tokyo 2020. The former marathon and half marathon world record holder was appointed MBE in 2013 for his services to athletics. In collaboration with Richard and the Richard Whitehead Foundation, Nissan are supporting and developing more opportunities for people with disabilities.
