8.4.2. Driving in wet conditions
Avoid accelerating or stopping suddenly.
Avoid sharp turning or lane changing suddenly.
Avoid following too close to the vehicle in front.
When water covers the road surface with water puddles, small water streams, etc., reduce speed to prevent hydroplaning which can cause skidding and loss of control. Worn tyres will increase this risk.
