The NISSAN e-POWER system generates electric power by running the power generator with the gasoline engine, and stores the generated electric power in the Lithium ion (Li-ion) battery or provides it to the electric motor for driving directly. This vehicle can be driven by running the electric motor for driving with the electric power, which is stored or generated.
