“Friendly “Friendly Lighting”

The “Friendly Lighting” function is a convenience facility. It allows you to provide lighting from the vehicle after the ignition has been placed in the LOCK position and the headlight switch is in the <AUTO> (where fitted) position. Pulling the headlight switch toward you once will activate the headlight for approximately 30 seconds. After that period of time, it will automatically switch off.

It is possible to pull the headlight switch up to four times to increase the lighting period up to 2 minutes.

The “Friendly Lighting” function can be cancelled by placing the ignition in the ACC or ON position again.
