8. 8. [Not Available Front Radar Blocked] warning (where fitted)

The radar is positioned behind the lower area of the front bumper. If this area is dirty, covered in snow or ice or otherwise obstructed, preventing the system detecting the vehicle in front, the Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB) and Intelligent Cruise Control systems are automatically turned off. The IEB warning light (yellow) will illuminate and the [Not Available Front Radar Blocked] warning message will appear in the Vehicle Information Display. If the [Not Available Front Radar Blocked] warning message appears, park the vehicle in a safe location and turn the engine off. Check to see if the sensor area is blocked. If blocked, remove the blocking material. Restart the engine. If the warning light continues to illuminate, have the IEB and ICC system checked by a NISSAN dealer or qualified workshop.
