[Vehicle [Vehicle Settings]

Use the image or image switches and the <OK> button to change the status, warnings or turn on or off any of the systems/warnings displayed in the [Vehicle Settings] menu. The following menu options (where fitted), each leading to a further submenu, are available:

  • [Lighting]

  • [Turn Indicator]

  • [Locking]

  • [Wipers]

  • [Mirrors]

[Lighting]

The [Lighting] menu has the following options:

  • [Welcome Headlights]:

    The welcome lighting can be set to be ON or OFF. From the [Lighting] menu, select [Welcome Headlights]. Use the <OK> button to turn this feature ON or OFF. When set to ON, front and rear lamps will stay on for 30 seconds after unlocking. They will also stay on for 10 seconds after locking.

    The front and rear lamps may turn on again for 10 seconds when the Intelligent Key is moved outside of the set detection zone (approximately 3 m (10 ft)) or after 2 minutes if the Intelligent Key remains motionless within the set detection zone.

  • [Auto Room Lamp]:

    The internal light timer can be set to be ON or OFF. From the [Lighting] menu, select [Auto Room Lamp]. Use the <OK> button to turn this feature ON or OFF.

  • [Mood Lighting] (where fitted):

    The mood lighting can be dimmed or brightened. From the [Lighting] menu, select [Mood Lighting]. Use the <OK> button and the image or image switches to adjust the brightness.

  • [Light Off Delay] (where fitted):

    This option can be used to set the duration of the [Welcome Headlights] off timer.

[Turn Indicator]

The [3 Flashes] overtaking feature can be set to be ON or OFF. From the [Vehicle Settings] menu, select [3 Flashes] to turn the [3 Flashes] overtaking feature ON. Select [1 Flash] to turn it off.

[Locking]

There are a number of options (where fitted) in the [Locking] menu:

  • [Ext. Door Switch] (where fitted)

    When this item is turned on, the request switch on the door is activated. From the [Locking] menu, select [Ext. Door Switch]. Use the <OK> button to activate or deactivate this function.

  • [Selective unlock]

    When this item is turned on, and the door handle request switch on the driver’s or front passenger’s side door is pushed, only the corresponding door is unlocked. All the doors can be unlocked if the door handle request switch is pushed again within 1 minute. When this item is turned to off, all the doors will be unlocked when the door handle request switch is pushed once. From the [Locking] menu, select [Selective Unlock]. Use the <OK> button to activate or deactivate this function.

    • When the shift lever is moved to P (Park) (Automatic (DCT) transmission) models only

    • At the moment the engine is turned off.

  • [Walk Away Lock]

    This allows user to turn the walk away lock function ON or OFF. See

[Wipers]

  • [Speed Dependent] (where fitted)

    The Speed Dependent wiper feature can be set to be ON or OFF. From the [Wipers] menu, select [Speed Dependent]. Use the <OK> button to turn this feature ON or OFF.

  • [Rain Sensor] (where fitted)

    The Rain Sensor feature can be activated or deactivated. From the [Wipers] menu, select [Rain Sensor]. Use the <OK> button to turn this feature ON or OFF.

  • [Reverse Link] (where fitted)

    The Reverse Link wiper feature can be set to be ON or OFF. From the [Wipers] menu, select [Reverse Link]. Use the <OK> button to turn this feature ON or OFF. If set to ON, the rear wiper will operate if the front wipers are switched on and the gear shift is in the R (Reverse) position.

  • [Drip Wipe] (where fitted)

    The Drip Wipe feature can be set to be ON or OFF. From the [Wipers] menu, select [Drip Wipe]. Use the <OK> button to turn this feature ON or OFF. If set to ON, the wiper will operate once about 3 seconds after using the washer. This operation is to wipe washer fluid that has dripped on the windscreen.

[Mirrors]

There are three options (where fitted) in the [Mirrors] menu:

  • [Auto Fold Off] (where fitted)

    When this item is turned on, the auto fold feature for the outside rear-view mirrors is disabled. Use the <OK> button to select this function.

  • [Unfold at Ignition] (where fitted)

    When this item is turned on, The outside rear-view mirrors automatically fold when the ignition is switched off, and unfold when the ignition is switched on. Use the <OK> button to select this function.

  • [Unfold at Unlock] (where fitted)

    When this item is turned on, The outside rear-view mirrors automatically fold when the vehicle doors are locked, and unfold when the vehicles doors are unlocked. Use the <OK> button to select this function.
