11.1. Capacities and recommended fluids/lubricants

The following are approximate capacities. The actual refill quantities may be slightly different. When refilling, follow the procedures instructed in the “8. Maintenance and do-it-yourself” section to determine the proper refill capacity.

  • If above engine oil is not available, use equivalent that matches the following grade and viscosity: Genuine “Nissan Motor Oil Synthetic Technology 5W-30 C3”.

Engine coolant

(including reservoir tank capacity)

  • Use “NISSAN Genuine Engine Coolant L255N” or equivalent in its quality, in order to avoid possible aluminium corrosion within the engine cooling system caused by the use of non-genuine engine coolant. Note that any repairs for the incidents within the engine cooling system while using non-genuine engine coolant may not be covered by the warranty, even if such incidents occurred during the warranty period. Contact a NISSAN dealer or qualified workshop for more information regarding the coolant type and capacity.

  • If dilution of new coolant is necessary to achieve the correct concentration, only use demineralized or distilled water for dilution.

  • Use only Genuine NISSAN DCT Fluid. Using transmission fluid other than NISSAN DCT Fluid will damage the transmission. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.

Brake and clutch fluid

Refill to the proper fluid level according to the instructions in the “8. Maintenance and do-it-yourself” section.
