4.2.1. Checking lights

With all doors closed, apply the parking brake, fasten the seat belts and place the ignition in the ON position without starting the engine. The following lights (where fitted) will illuminate:

If any light fails to come on, it may indicate a burned-out bulb or an open circuit in the electrical system. Have the system checked, and repaired promptly by a NISSAN dealer or qualified workshop.

The or light (where fitted), located on the centre console below the heater and air conditioner controls, comes on and stays on depending on the front passenger air bag switch position.
