3.1.3.1. Folding
The luggage compartment loading capacity can be increased by folding the rear seats forward as shown.
To fold the seat
Ensure head restraints are properly stowed, see
.
When folding the rear seat forward, the outer seat belts can be stored out of the way using the storage holder shown in the illustration.
Release the seatback lock by pressing the latch.
Fold the seat forward as shown.
To return the seat to an upright position
Make sure the seat belts are clear of the seat latch mechanism.
Lift the seatback up and push firmly to lock.
Ensure lock button has returned to up position and pull seatback firmly to check it is securely latched.
Always ensure that the seat belt is not trapped in the release lever or any other vehicle part.
