7.15.3.1. Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention system activation and deactivation

Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention is activated when pushing either the ProPILOT Assist switch or Speed Limiter switch (for models with ProPILOT Assist) or the Drive Assist switch (for models without ProPILOT Assist) on the steering wheel when the [Intervention] setting is enabled in the [Driver Assistance] menu in the vehicle information display.

To deactivate the Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention, push the same switch again or disable the [Intervention] setting in the [Driver Assistance] menu. The system will be automatically deactivated when the ignition switch is placed in the OFF position.

To enable or disable the [Intervention] setting:

  1. In the [Settings] menu in the vehicle information display, select [Driver Assistance]

  2. Select the [Blind Spot] submenu.

  3. Press OK to enable or disable the [Intervention] setting.
