Nissan Juke 2024 Owners Manual
7.17. Lane Assist system
APPLICATION
There are some differences in the system functions/behaviours depending on the model.
Type A is for models with the [Driver Assist Custom] setting in the [Shortcut Menu] screen of the vehicle information display.
Type B is for models without the [Driver Assist Custom] setting in the [Shortcut Menu] screen of the vehicle information display.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions for proper use of the Lane Assist system could result in serious injury or death.
The Lane Assist system will not steer the vehicle or prevent loss of control. It is the driver's responsibility to stay alert, drive safely, keep the vehicle in the travelling lane, and be in control of the vehicle at all times.
The Lane Assist system is intended to work on all roads with well defined markings or road edges, but it may not detect the road edge or lane markers in certain road, weather or driving conditions.
There is a limitation to the detection capability of the sensors. Always rely on your own operation to avoid accidents.
The Lane Assist system will be automatically turned on each time the engine is restarted.
The Lane Assist uses a multi-sensing front camera (A) located above the inside mirror to monitors the lane markers on the travelling lane and to detect other vehicles.
