8.30.1.2. SPORT drive mode
The <SPORT> drive mode is recommended for an enhanced performance feel. In sport mode, steering weight will increase, and engine control and acceleration response will be enhanced. This will give the vehicle a sportier feel.
Sport mode will run the engine more and will keep the hybrid battery at a higher charge to allow for optimum response.
In the <SPORT> mode, it will increase regenerative braking level and the fuel economy may be reduced.
From the <SPORT> drive mode switch position:
Press the switch UP to select <STANDARD> mode
Press the switch DOWN to select <ECO> mode
