9.12.4.3. How to enable/disable the RCTA system

  • (1) Vehicle Information Display
  • (2) Steering-wheel-mounted controls (left side)

Perform the following steps to enable or disable the RCTA system.

  1. Press the image or image button until [Settings] displays in the Vehicle Information Display and then press the <OK> button. Use the image and image buttons to select [Driver Assistance]. Then press the <OK> button.

  2. Select [Parking Aids] and press the <OK> button.

  3. To set the RCTA system to on or off, use the image and image buttons to navigate the menu and use the <OK> button to select or change an item.

    • To turn on the RCTA system, use the <OK> button to check the box for [Cross Traffic].

When enabling/disabling the system, the system setting will be retained even if the EV system is restarted.
