6.4.2.4. Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB) system warning light

This light comes on when the power switch is placed in the ON position. It turns off after the EV system is started. This light illuminates when the IEB system is set to OFF on the meter display. If the light illuminates when the IEB system is on, it may indicate that the system is unavailable. For additional information, See

Disabling the ESP system with the Vehicle Information Display causes the IEB with pedestrian detection system to become unavailable. This is not a malfunction.
