4.8.1.1. Lighting
Turn the switch to the 
position (1)
The front side, tail, number plate and instrument lights will come on. The indicator light in the instrument panel will come on. The daytime running lights will turn off.
Turn the switch to the 
position (2)
The headlights will come on and all the other lights remain on. The daytime running lights will turn off.
The selected position of the headlight switch is briefly shown in the vehicle information display.
Never leave the light switch on for extended periods of time while the engine is not running.
