5.10.2.2. To start the vehicle from standstill
For Xtronic Transmission models
With the vehicle not in the P (Park) or N (Neutral) position, depress the accelerator pedal while the braking force is maintained. The braking force will automatically be released to restart the vehicle. The Automatic brake hold function will return to standby and the Automatic brake hold indicator light (white) illuminates.
For Manual Transmission models
With the transmission in gear, releasing the clutch pedal to engage drive will also release the Automatic brake hold function. The Automatic brake hold function will return to standby and the Automatic brake hold indicator light (white) illuminates.
