7.10.1. Retrograde movement control function
The system is designed to reduce the retrograde movement that occurs while the driver's foot changes from depressing the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal when moving the vehicle while the Stop/Start System is active on a hilly road.
Since this equipment utilizes the brake control by Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) system, the system does not activate when the slip indicator light in the meter panel illuminates.
