5.9.2.4. Reverse tilt-down feature (where fitted)
When reversing the vehicle, the outside mirror will turn downward automatically to provide better rear visibility. Depending on the model, the outside mirror on one side (selected) or both sides will move.
Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
Move the shift lever to the R (Reverse) position.
Choose the right or left outside mirror by operating the outside mirror control switch.
The outside mirror surface moves downward.
When one of the following conditions has occurred, the outside mirror surface will return to its original position.
The shift lever is moved out of the R (Reverse) position.
The vehicle speed exceeds 8 km/h (5 MPH).
The selected outside mirror is deselected using the outside mirror control switch.
The ignition switch is placed in the OFF position.
The engine is stopped.
