HOW TO PLAN YOUR EV CHARGING EN ROUTE
85% of all EV charging is done at home or the place of work. However, when you do venture further out it’s always best to plan a route that has charging stations along the way, so charging is made part of your journey rather than an inconvenient diversion.
There are more than 35,000 public charging stations in the UK, including over 7,000 that offer rapid charging services—and those numbers grow every day. The Zapmap® app offers all the information you need at your fingertips. Plan your journey, find your nearest charging point on the go, and feel confident all the way to your destination. It will also point out the many authorities and workplaces that offer free parking while you charge. Charging times are dependent on battery size, charger output and battery temperature as well as other factors, but many vehicles are capable of getting an 80% charge in less than an hour and half using most currently available rapid chargers.

One of the easiest and quickest ways to charge your electric vehicle is at home. Nissan works with two of the best home charger installers – E.ON Drive and Pod Point. When you order your home charger from us it will be safely installed by their trained technicians before delivery of your vehicle, if you haven’t picked it up yet. We have a number of finance options available including bundling the cost into your monthly electric vehicle payments or buying it outright upfront.
