Eligibility and Ordering process
Eligibility
To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you must receive one of these disability allowances:
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Adult Disability Payment (Scotland)
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Child Disability Payment (Scotland)
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
You will need to have at least 12 months remaining on your allowance when you apply.
Ordering Process:
Sales Process
1. View our range on the Motability scheme and choose your vehicle
2. Book Test Drive.
3. Visit Dealership : Placing the Application.
Please bring the following documents to the dealership
i. Certificate of entitlement from either the department for work and pensions (DWP) or the service personnel and veterans agency
ii. Proof of address (recent utility bill or bank statement)
iii. Your license or nominated drivers’ license and consent for their details to be checked by DVLA
iv. Details of any previous accidents and driving convictions that you or your nominated driver holds.
4. Collect your car.
a. Complete signed agreement between yourself and Motability Operations
b. Pay Advance Payment if applicable.
