1/6 - Intelligent forward collision warning

Your second pair of eyes, watching for hazards ahead. The system can detect vehicles in front of you suddenly decelerating and gives you an early warning to slow down.2

Senses the distance and relative speed of your car and the vehicle ahead to keep a safe preset distance between both as you drive.2

3/6 - Intelligent emergency braking with junction assist, pedestrian and cyclist recogniton

Keeps a look-out for cars ahead, alerting and even applying the brakes to bring you to a complete stop if there's risk of a collision. Also available with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection and Junction Assist, it detects vehicles crossing your path at junctions.2

4/6 - Rear automatic braking

Adds confidence in the car park. When reversing, if the system detects a stationary object behind your X-Trail, it can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a collision.2

5/6 - Emergency Lane Keep Assist

Makes subtle steering corrections, even through gentle curves. It also returns your X-Trail to the center of the lane by brake control under emergency situations.2

Uses radar technology to monitor a vehicle's proximity to the vehicle ahead, giving the driver an audible and visual warning to help them reduce the vehicle's speed if a potential frontal collision is detected.2

Optional on Tekna grades, ProPILOT Assist Park [1] gently eases your X-Trail into a space, controlling the steering, accelerator and brakes. It can even recognise an open space; all you have to do is select the type of space, sit back and let ProPILOT Park do the work.

Nissan Propilot Park – Intelligent rearview mirror

Intelligent Rearview Mirror [4]

Being aware of what is happening behind the car makes for safer and more comfortable driving.
Nissan has developed a rearview mirror with a built-in LCD monitor displaying images from a camera mounted on the rear of the vehicle.
With the click of a switch, you can alternate between the monitor and the mirror, enabling you to see traffic conditions behind the car as well as use the rearview mirror to check on passengers and pets.

ProPILOT Assist is intended for “Eyes on/ Hands On” for highways only (road separated by Barriers). It is the driver’s responsibility to stay alert, drive safely, apply speed limits and safe speed based on road conditions and remain in  control of the vehicle at any time.
